I don't agree with awards, period. I do appreciate the one I have that was given to me by a very close friend, but they are a popularity contest and I do not feel that they should be present on this site. They have a tendency to create cliques and cause self esteem problems.  |

I think they do listen for the most part, with people on the site. There are around 33 admins,(not including chatmins) which only 20 something are still active. I am not sure how many have the availablity to give out awards and they have to wait 7 days time limit between the awards that they hand out. But, there are over 50,000 members, where about 12-20,000 are active, and thats a lot of awards. I see it that, everyone on USM deserves an award for something. The variety of wonderful people, and although most have different qualities, they are special all the same. Be patient sis, I am sure you will get one, you have a heart of gold and are always soooo kind. It takes time sweety. *huge huggles* Love, Amanda |
