Ok, I was at my cousin's house, bored outta my skull and I picked up this book. I barely glanced at the author's name, I was so bored and read it. I love to read and I'll usually read anything; classics, junk, or whatever. So anyway, this book was just horrible! It was so sugary sweet that it just oozed from the pages like pus. I didn't hate it because I hate Spears; even if my favorite author, Flannery O' Conner wrote it, I woulda hated it. So anyway, this book was just awful! Holly Faye, her mother, and all those other people in that hickish town had no flaws, whatsoever. None! They were all too perfect acting, so polite, and so kind. Holly miraculously gets a scholarship into a music school, though she's dirt poor and wears handmade clothes. She doesn't fit in; rags to riches. And at the end Wanda reveals a big secret. "I'm sorry to have kept this from you." I don't wanna ruin the ending, though I should just so you don't rot all your brain cells. I hope I don't offend any of you britney fans, but if she wrote as good as O' Connor, the tables would have turned and she would be on my "okay" list.
