Well It has been a long and rocky day.. My husband's brother has been diagnosed as being Bi-polar a few months ago. He has many issues to sort out in his life an I hope what happened today will turn things around. He sent a couple of emails out that didn't sound right and one to his ex-girlfriend probabaly saved his life. He attempted suicide today. He was found vomiting in his apartment trying to end his life with sleeping pills. He was rushed to the hospital and has turned out to be okay so far. He was high on something and quite hard to understand his words but alive none the less...
He hopefully will accept the help that everyone has been desperatly trying to offer. It really is true you can't help someone until they truly want help. He's forced to be admited to be evaluated (mentally) and hopefully he can get some good therapy. He had a close call but he is alive.
Sadly in the room next to him a young 15 year old girl died. She had been swimming in a pool where some wiring went bad and was electrocuted. A screaming female voice..her mother filled the emergency room halls...
The police officer entered and told him straight out, had he pulled off the @#$%%$#@ he attempted that night that would have been his mother and family crying in the hall.
That girl had her life ripped away and not by choice...and here he was with the gift of life trying to throw it away..
I hope this helps someone else who may be suffering from depression or knows someone who hints at suicide. Suicide is selfish and hurts the ones you love.
Please be remember how precious life truly is...
