Date: 4/30/2002 4:55:00 PM From Authorid: 20956 Geez, you poor thing!! Bad haircuts are a killer. Iam not too sure what the 'rules' are when it comes to hairdressers and dodgy jobs, but i am sure that if she stuffed your hair up cause she was negligent then i doubt you'd have to pay and she should really fix your hair for free. Because i dont know what you look like i cant tell you what to do with your hair, but shaving it off would probably be the best option. Dont worry hair grows fast ~~ if thats not an option, i hear beanies are coming back into fashion, LOL!! Good luck either way .... |
Date: 4/30/2002 5:01:00 PM From Authorid: 23907 you shouldn't have paid her...it is her job to concentrate on doing her job cutting your hair..not watching tv. lol...i hope it grows back soon |
Date: 4/30/2002 5:03:00 PM From Authorid: 17290 i can relate! i got a hair cut once 2 years ago...it took me 2 years to come back (somewhere else!) LOL. but, i wanted layers, it ended up being really big on top and it came to a point at the bottom ! OMG! u had to see this! what i did was i went back, and had it even at the bottom then i tried spider web things till it grew out so i could put it in a pony tail, just play around w/stuff, or go to a hair place for ideas not a hair cut (only ideas) love, |

Date: 4/30/2002 5:08:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 26321 Yikes @ NSync Girl ( 1930s? ) . I look like a weirdo ! Ewe i wish i could mess her hair up like she messed up mine . Maybe if i used a skull cap , i dunno . I dont want my hair all sticking up ! Raz aka |
Date: 4/30/2002 5:49:00 PM From Authorid: 13370 I'm so sorry. I'll make sure whenever I have my hair cut or trimmed to make the barber turn off the tv if she is watching it. The only advice I can think of is to buy a wig and let your hair grow out. |
Date: 4/30/2002 7:06:00 PM From Authorid: 51049 I can relate, about 3 years ago when I had longer hair, my ma had this idea of doing layers, so she put all my hair in a pony tail and cut it, when she took it down it was unnoticable, so she did it again, like two more times until it was definitely noticeable. I had major wings and when I went to have someone fix it, it got messed up even more. Yikes!! It took forever to grow out. From now on I will stick to someone who knows what they are doing. Or in your case, someone whom I hope knows what they are doing. The only thing I can say to you is let it grow out. Sorry. Fire Cracker |
Date: 4/30/2002 8:09:00 PM From Authorid: 16069 I wouldnt have paid her. I had a bad experience at a hair place before, the lady demanded my money and I walked out the door. Im sorry this happened to you! If it makes you feel any better, I think we can all share a horror story at the hair salon! |
Date: 4/30/2002 8:12:00 PM From Authorid: 16069 Also, go to an new hair dresser and ask them what your options are. Most places have books that you can look through and try to find something you like. Good Luck! |
Date: 5/1/2002 1:43:00 PM From Authorid: 10245 Go back to the shop and complain to the owner or manager... if it's a reputable place they should either offer to "fix" it for you (but how can they put it back?) or refund your money. Good Luck. (p.s. yes, technically you could get in trouble for just walking out without paying... it's theft of service.) |
Date: 5/1/2002 3:36:00 PM From Authorid: 50058 Go to another hair dresser and see what they can do to fix it. |
Date: 5/2/2002 2:50:00 PM From Authorid: 30786 I would definitely complain about her to her boss. I would have refused to pay, and I think that you are allowed to do that if you have reason to do so, and you did. Luckily you are a guy and you only have to wait it out a few months at most. Find a new hairdresser, yours is unreliable. That is sooo unprofessional |
