I have spent my whole life searching,
Searching the heavens to see your face.
But not even the perfect angels,
Could match your love and grace.
I know what I am looking for,
Although it was never lost.
When I have found your shimmering eyes,
I will get to you no matter the cost.
I would defy the stars and the heavens,
For just one kiss from you my love.
No chains could hold me back,
From attaining my perfect dove.
So I will keep searching the heavens,
For thats the only place you could be.
