Soft beckoning of well masked screams,
Dead reckoning through a field of dreams,
Glory hunters walk through parasitic halls,
Story tellers talk to ears within the walls.
And the Jester
adjusts his hat,
A knowing wink shows
He knows where it's at.
He can taste it in his tears,
It's the flavour of death
From the valley of fear.
Rattle the gallows and ready the rope.
Embrace the light that extinguishes hope,
Shadows do battle in the realm of unknown,
Eating the flesh and wearing the bones.
And the Jester
Smiles and nods,
Nobody treads the road
of the old Gods.
Aye, the end is near
And all that is left
Is my Jesters' gear.
