Don't Pity Yourself ~Rika~

Sometimes I think back on my life.
And I feel like I've done so much wrong.
I've been through conflict and strife.
I've had to be so very strong.

But then I remember the smiles
Of my family, my friends, and of me.
To keep them, I'd walk a million miles.
Cause smiles I just love to see.

And I think of the fun that I've had.
The good times I've had with my friends.
The times that then I thought were bad,
But now that I wish had no ends.

Yes I have made some mistakes.
After all, I'm a regular teen.
But no matter how many I make,
I never feel caught in between.

So yeah I've had a hard life.
But doesn't everyone sometimes?
And all those conflicts and strife?
Well, I just needed time to unwind.

So remember when you're feeling blue.
Someone has been in your shoes.
And they most likely made it through.
It's your choice: you can win or lose.
