I once knew a girl,(we will call her Alice). I was a little boy about 10 when I first met her. I was madly in love and have always try to see her whenever I can. But I was a shy boy.. thus my spy game was kept at a very low profile. Even from my family who were very close to her family.

I continue to secretly love until I finish my studies (19 years old). I never reveal to her my feelings but took every oppotunity to be near her. It was domain in the center of my heart. Well, there were many boys who were going for her but I usually kept quiet as I felt I was never good enough for her. I was however delighted when I found out that it did not work out. hehehehe

Then one day a friend of mine was trying to get close to her. Since he knew that our families were very close and seeing that I was very close with her told me not to get in between him and her.

I was angry at him. But because I am man of principal and I believe "best man will always win", I did not give him any reply. As he was rich he could afford to bring her out for dates and had a lot of fun. And I who was poor started by sending her secret love notes and flowers and small gifts from my saving. As I was getting very good at this spying game, I manage to sneak the stuff into her bags or dress without her knowing it.

But one day, I found out that her family will be moving to another country. Heart broken I send her a last gift and with a note saying "So as to stop the pain in my heart,This will be my last gift". That took her attention and she started asking around but no one knew until one day she asked me.

I told her there was a girl whom I am madely in love for a long time now.... I told her how I felt about this girl but never indicate that it was her. She never got the hint... And eventually her curiously fades. Soon her family left our country for a greener pasture.

Did I do something wrong here????? If not them why do my heart fills so bad about it? If so then is it too late.
