if youre interested by this subject, i suggest reading "Night" a book by Elie Wiesel. if youve ever read it it is a very interesting book. Its short enough to read in a few hours, but it will take you a week, i can guarantee it. its just that intense of a book.  |

Sure, the treatment of the Jews was so bad that I don't even think that we have a word to describe it. But more Russians died in those camps than Jews. It happened, another book you may want to read is, "Man's Search For Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. He describes his time spent in the death camps, the loss of loved ones, and how many survived. I also had a patient whom I will never forget, his identification numbers were clearly tatooed on his forearm, I grew close to him, I think his night terrors were the worst, even after many, many years he still had nightmares of the death camp he was in, his wife and little son were gassed. It happened. No doubt in my mind ever, and like Lady Spirit Guide said, we should never forget it happened.  |

i am sorry but there is no way the holocaust didn't happen! i read a lot of books about the holocaust, and i've read actual testimonies from people who were there, and there's no way you can deny that kind of emotion and devestation! you can't deny the horror inflicted on millions of people! the only reason the KKK and Neo-Nazis want to deny it ever happened is so they don't take the blame for being the cruel, racist, SOB's that they are! i'm sorry but i have no tolerance for racist people, or people that hate just for the sake of hating, and i beleive strongly in that ideal!  |

I've seen and heard these yutz'rant about how it was all a jewish lie, and that it never happened. My question is: If it never happened, explain all the emaiciated, starved and shaven twisted corpses heaped into mass graves, the piles of gold teeth, eye glasses, shoes and hair (that some officers in the SS had made into pillows to sleep on...those must've been sweet dreams [gag])? What about the lampshade made out of human skin, taken as a trophy by a high ranking Nazi because he liked the tattoo? My final point is Anne Frank and her famed diary. Here in America, a diary is admissible as evidence in a court of law, as if there were more proof needed.It sickens me to think there are still those who doubt and flat out deny what so many endured and died for. I read "Night" in the 7th grade and then we had a woman come to our class who had been in one of those concentration camps. It was awful. I cried the entire time I was in class and even after it was over. She talked about the work she had to do, how poorly they were treated, the tons of people who were sent to the gas chambers and than incinerated. She also showed us the number on her arm. That experience is one of the few things I will always remember. Anyone who says the Holocaust didn't happen is an idiot. 6,000,000 million people don't just vanish off the face of the earth. Hitler and the Nazi party were completely deranged. I mean Hitler was Jewish, he killed off his own people. I people who are spreading the propaganda that the Holocaust never happened, are part of a HATE organization such as: the KKK, the Neo-nazis ect...they will never speak the truth. -avalonelle  |

It just makes me furious when I read that there are such ignorant people who say the holocost didn't take place. I visited Dachau concentration camp when I lived in Germany. Why would the Germans have this set up if it didn't happen? In the main building they have a museum set up with huge pictures of the atrocities that took place there. It was very powerful and very real..  |

The sad thing is when one speaks of the Holocaust....It is usually referred to only the Jewish people during World War 2....There were 2 other Holocausts right here in the Good ole USA.....Native Americans were murdered on a regular basis for over a century..as well as African American's....During and after slavery was abolished........Although I hate neo-nazi's and the KKK....we must not only look at Hitler as a monster but our own governments faults in the past as well ..let us not forget .....  |
