I wanted to take a minute to honor my lovely Bride here. She deserves it. I'm not usually one much for poetry but I just love hers. I think she's truly gifted at it. Even though the vast majority of it is very dark, depressing and perhaps a bit disturbing at times, she isn't that way at all. That's just her style of writing. Only very recently did I discover that she has a gift for fiction as well. She posted three, I think, short stories. If you read them, I think you'll see that I've probably had an influence on her since she seems to have adopted my style. That's a real compliment to me.
She's the best wife I could have ever dreamed of and I'm the happiest guy in the world. I can't imagine life without her, in fact, I can barely remember what it was like before we met three years ago. We have been married for just over eight months now and it has been wonderful. Since the day the good doctor stitched her together and gave her life, this old castle has never been the same. I wouldn't have it any other way.
She deserves some recognition and thus, this post. I think you would enjoy her work if you would give it a chance. Even if you're like myself and really aren't usually into poetry, take a look and you may be surprised. If that isn't your thing but you like my stories, check out her fiction.
In case it isn't already abundantly clear, I love that special woman of mine more than anything on this Earth. There's nothing I would trade her for. I could never live without that beautiful smile, that quirky sense of humor or anything else that makes her so unique.
