I don't know if this particular story is true, but that sort of thing has happened a lot. Most horse trailer floors are wood and some people just don't check them to make sure they are in good condition. Another thing people do while trailering horses is let them hang their heads out the windows instead of leaving the bars up. Many horses have been killed because passing trucks hit their heads... :| |
