a wisper of emotion, not yet
melted away by time
tragedy, is all i see in your eyes
a love strangled, unexpectedly
sockets, now vacant
you slipped on, past me
as i waited, for you to come around
so quiet, you didnt make a sound
nothing more found
to be cradled
oo yes, i could be bitter
i gave so much of my life, to you
and yes, i expected somthing in
return, but not this, not this burn
just your promise of a return
it made the waiting, not so bad
we had no ending
but you turned into somthing
not warm, and closed the book
