He rests his face in his hands,
they torture him with cruelty,
too ashamed to ask them to stop,
he takes the harsh brutality.
He can't afford stylish clothes,
so he wears sweat pants every day,
they tease him about his hair,
but for a hair cut he can't pay.
He never says a word,
I don't blame him,
he can't help the way that he is,
he is not one of them.
He didn't ask to be put in this world,
God have mercy on the guy,
why won't he talk?
Is it humiliation, or is he just shy?
Day after day he travels the halls alone,
walking as fast as he can and watching his back,
hoping someone wont tease or beat him,
before he makes it safely to class.
What is the point in torturing and teasing?
Why don't they search deeper and look inside,
because you never know,
it could be Jesus in disguise.
