Hiya Corky. Never have used one myself. Once when my daughter was about 14 years old, and spending the night at a friend's house, I had to get up in the middle of the night to go and pick her up. She was pretty shook up. Seems that the friends mother had a board and something scared Robin pretty bad. Might've just been the power of suggestion, I dunno. I have talked to some that say it's only a toy. Others swear that they can connect with spirits...Let me know if you have any luck...lol..See ya and write on....  |

Hi Corky sis! I will say from my personal experiece, don't use one! I was threatened with my life from a spirit when I have used it. The planchette starts off slowly. You ask it questions as you move along. You lightly touch the thing for it is the suppose energy from you that the spirit feeds from that moves the thing. I know that curiosity can get the best of anyone, but I am just letting you know that they are very very dangerous and I wouldn't recommend you nor your sister to play with it or have it in your homes. It depends if the person believes... Some people just aren't able to be a spirit magnet. It is also important to have a good atmosphere (lighting, maybe some Instrumental flute/eastern/african/piano music etc.)...
Depending on your religion, you should partake in some sort of prayer or mantra and do breathing exercises, cleanse your mind of all distractions...
