I just quit going to church about a year and a half ago. My parents were anti- religious, but they just wanted me to know what was out there. I say you should just explain that you don't believe in that and that you need to find your own path. My friend is having the same problem. Ask them if you can try visiting any other kinds of churches, some of different and the same faiths. Hope this helps

Well I think you want to be independent and find your own religion. Go on the net look up possible religion choices read up on them chat with people that belong to different religions! Oh tell your parents you want to check all the possible religions out because you want to find a religion that fits you better then the religion you have now!  |

If you don't wanna go, you shouldn't have to. My parents used to force me to go too until sometime in my not too long ago teenage years. I haven't been to church since. The only reason I don't wanna go is because it's extremely boring.  |
