This makes a great sandwich ! Posey

If you get tired of just plain hamburger for sandwiches, use your favorite meatloaf recipe (include an egg, so the patties don't fall apart) and make it into patties and fry it! These may burn easier than regular hamburgers, so you will have to keep an eye on them.I use the meatloaf recipe that used to be on the back of the Quaker Oatmeal box. You can also put a piece of plastic wrap between each patty, wrap and freeze them! If anyone wants this recipe, let me know and I will post it. *********************

If you like fried potatoes and onions, next time you make them, after they are brown and crispy and done the way you like them , lay 2 or 3 slices of Velveeta type cheese on the potatoes, cover with a lid just until cheese melts and serve onto each plate without stirring! Yum! Posey

Date: 4/6/2002 7:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 47699    I like your suggestions. They sound good to me. I like to take a slice of bologna, fry it, and then throw it as hard as I can against the nearest wall. I don't know why, I just do. I lived in some really cheap apartments once and one day when I did that, it went straight through the wall and hit an old man right in the head. I'm glad that it wasn't sharp but, then again, cold cuts don't usually tend to be. I've found that pimento cheese is good if you eat it. It just doesn't have the same effect if you use it to seal the envelopes for hundreds of wedding invitation. Life's strange that way sometimes.

I love to cook and sometimes like to fix something easy , so I try to improve on something that I already have, instead of fixing a new recipe.
