Amoloy, its not the milk its the calcium! You can getthat fom somewhere else. They say a certian enzyme or something can cuase osteoporisis, these are scientific tests, where that is the conclusion. |

Tyger did do a post on the PETA thing, so I will give you the same reply I gave her: One trend I have been noticing in advertising is the use of guilt to persuade the viewer into accepting the message. In this case, the guilt trip sounds something like: "Breast feeding was good enough for Jesus. Are you trying to say you're better than Jesus? Do you HATE Jesus? Do you sacrifice virgins to Satan? No? Well then stop using baby formula!" Another thing I have noticed is that this technique is most commonly used by people advertising causes with no real facts to support them. |

i think they were more upset with the idea of something so holy being used as an adverisement, ppl who don't believe in milk are called vegans, they don't eat n e thing animal related and think mass production of cow's milk is mean, and all in all it is, but i think that the picture you spoke of would be bueatiful-may |

floating, the thing is that there are facts to back up there claims that it is un healthy. They also believe that some people in the government making money off of the dairy industry are promoting and funding advertisement becouse they know it goes into there pockets. Why support a product just becouse it has calcium? When alot of people hate , and half of the world is allergic, and then theres the fact that its fattening, unles you can swallow that horribly tasting skim milk! Fact is that other fods are just as rich in calcium, with out the health risks, tey even have a chocalate chew, theres also vitamins. Although I am a milk lover, lol. Its a love hate relationship really, lol. But I think it is important that people know the facts in this subject weather they decide to drink it or not. |

At first I thought that's disrespect to the Mary and Jesus...Then I thought well that's probably how Jesus was fed they didn't have bottles lol. Then I thought it's not bad to nurse our children it's beautiful soo why was I thinking the way I was??? Here I drink milk thinking it's good for bones which my bones are in bad shape. Thanks for sharing...Angelfollower |

While I agree that breastfeeding is a normal way for a mother to care for her child, I don't think it's blasphemy. Now as far as the side effects of milk from cows and the way hormones are used by the industry to process milk may be a problem. And well what can I say about the advertising industry? They're in it for the money. Would Jesus do a commercial? Just a thought. |

It is kinda like the Majority of Christians. Too much Milk (In the Word of God) is not real healthy! You have to someday, get off the Milk and get on the Meat. |

By showing Mother Mary nursing the baby Jesus , it is my personal opinion that some people would do ANYTHING to sell their Product! What a shame that some have fallen so low and become so desperate, that they must resort to disrespecting the Mother of Jesus, to hawk their product! Posey |

Well you can thank the remowned "St. Augusting" for the prudishness displayed by these 'religious groups'. Yes the body is evil, the human sex organs are evil, sex is evil, everything ie evil. Unfortunately these blind 'drones' believe that God sends his creation into evil in order to become good. Something like sending ones children out into a blizzard for them to understand warmth. Anyway, aas I said in a previous post, it wasn't Mary and Jesus on the billboard, it was ISIS nursing HORUS. That's the 'original' depiction in the Egyptian fore-runner of the christian mystery. Let's give credit where credit is due for this symbolism. |

The question is: Why didn't PETA use the facts you listed, Smurf, instead of deliberately shocking and offending people, but offering no REAL info? My opinion: Their advertising tactics, as well as many of their causes, are childish and misdirected. Sorry I didn't reply right away, I forgot about this post momentarily. |
