Well in my case, I told my girlfriend that I loved her the night I asked her out, but the difference is that I had been friends with her a very long time and I had developed these feelings long ago and I really felt it and still do. I wanted nothing from her, except to be with her and protect her. I'm the type of person that when I have a feeling I go with it no matter what, you usually turn out to be right that way and if you don't at least you were honest. Peace to you all.  |

my husband and i were best friends in high school. I knew he had a thing for me, but i didnt feel the same at that time. the first night we ever went anywhere we got stranded at the beach when the tide came in and had to stay the whole night out there. well it was him, his friend, my older sister and me. I was sitting on a log watching the waves and he came up to me and said he loved me. I had just broken up with my BF, and i knew that he was saying what he meant. I thought about it a few minutes and relized he had always been there for me and that somewhere in my heart i loved him too. So i said i love you. Thsi was in October 92... Christmas day 92 he asked me to marry him and August 92 we got married. Some guys say they love you and mean it because they really do. I dont know what to tell ya, since all guys are different!  |
