Huma, I am a former christian, now a Witch, and I know the biblical answer is a third of the angels fell.that is all christians needed to be told. i believe the only other clue concerned something about angles on the head of a pin......by the way, why do you ask,......? |

If there are more 'demons' than there are 'angels' it is because God has allowed it. God is the creator and ruler of all creation right? Well then, if he didn't want there to be mor, there wouldn't be more.  |

Oh Huma, I feel so sorry for you! I read the replies and I'm sure it's not what you expected or hoped for! I also remember reading that a third of the angels were cast down to hell, but the scriptures you quoted would suggest that these fallen angels can't be demons, because they can't leave hell and do satan's work, seeing that they are chained in hell. I think that satan could've "made" more demons, but that's only my opinion. I also remember reading somewhere in the Bible that God used demons to do His work. I think He ordered a demon to lie to someone on earth because the man was evil or something like that, but it was for a good reason. God has power over all demons and everything else, but the topic is way too complicated for our puny minds. Anyway, thanks for discussing it!  |

huma, i'm not sure as i haven't studied the bible in so long (but would love to again, i lack willpower :P) but i would guess that yes there are more ??? from the sound of those scriptures it sounds like it. then again, there could be scriptures that go on and explain more about it. you might look around in that bible for more detailed information on it. also, ship pagan, God gave us our agency. God wants us all to follow him but he doesn't want to force us to do it. However, like children, we have to suffer the consequences of betraying him if we do not repent.  |

Huma, the demons your talking about in this post, are in hell and cant get out, as these are the demons that mating with the women of man kind in Gen chapter six. Satan had 1/3 of all angels go with him when he was cast out of heaven. Those that are chained right now, are not near all of them, as they are still here.  |
