The 6th And 7th Seals Of Revelation

Many are confused as to when the seven seals described in the book of Revelation will occur. I simply can't stress this enough in order to understand the prophecies being foretold in the Holy Scriptures you must study His written word in all earnest, pray, humility of spirit, and believe. History and the Bible go hand in hand. The Bible has foretold of many significant historical events past, present, and the future. Careful study of the Holy Scriptures will open one's understanding of past, present, and future events soon to unfold upon this Earth that will affect all of mankind and bring us ever closer to the coming of the Lord. We are now living between the sixth and seventh seals. The sixth seal is a sure sign of the coming of Christ. Christ foretold:

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:" Matt.24:29.

"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind." Rev.6:12-13.

Many tend to forget a prophecy occurs over a number of years and centuries. Our timetable cannot be compared to the Lord's timetable for a thousand years is but a day with God. How do I know the sixth seal has already been broken? For you historians who happen to come across this posting read about "The Dark Day Of May 19,1780." On November 13,1833 there came "The Great Star Shower." According to eye witnesses during the Dark Day the sun was darkened all day long and it was not a solar eclipse as some will readily assume. It was so dark roosters were crowing at 10 o'clock in the morning. The darkness was described as being so dense you could feel it. That same night the moon gave off a reddish color much like the color of blood. Persons who witnessed the Great Star Shower 53 years later which was seen worldwide said all of the stars gathered at the Zenith point and began falling continuously all night long as if the wind was blowing figs from a tree. One witness said it was so bright at night you could pick up a newspaper and read it.

Note the first event occurred almost immediately after massive religious persecutions ended which Jesus refers to as "immediately after the tribulations of those days." Did not massive religious persecutions occur prior to 1780 currently unprecedented in world history? Many more events are occurring and will occur prior to the opening of the seventh seal which is the coming of Christ.

"But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:And great earthquakes shall be in divers (various) places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven." Luke 21:9-11.

Are we not witnessing wars and riots taking place everywhere including our streets? Do we not suffer unexpected and powerful earthquakes on a massive scale? Read about the earthquakes of China and Lisbon prior to 1780. Do we not see worldwide hunger and starvation unprecedented in Earth's history? Are we not suffering from many diseases which are very deadly such as the AIDS virus, cancer, and hepatitus? Are we not witnessing awesome sights and other signs from the heavens? Jesus is surely coming again. Do you want your name to be found written in the Book Of Life?
