I wouldn't start to worry about it right now, but your mom should definately go have it checked out. I had something similar to that and it was just a tumor that was not cancer, but at least I knew and didn't have to worry about it!!! Love, ![]() |

no their not bad they can be painful depending on where they are. I've had mine for gosh..YEARS!!! it developed during the 4th grade and I'm in college now LOL Yeah it is painful from time to time because the tendons will get caught now and then but it's nothing life threatening or anything of the sorts. if that's what it is and she wants it taken care of it's a fairly simple procedure *Yeah I looked into having mine removed* they just basically 'file' the growth off.... ![]() |

It may or may not be Cancer. Sometimes you can get what they call a Cyst. It looks like a knot or bump anywhere on the body. Most Cysts need to be lanced or drained. And a puss like mucus will come out. In some cases they can appear or disappear on their own. Chinablue ![]() |

Maybe. It could also be a cyst, a calcium build up, or something else totally harmless. She still should go see a doctor as soon as she can to make sure it isn't cancer ![]() |

Your best bet is to take her to the doctor and get it checked out. If there is anything really to worry about the doctor would know. ![]() |
