Prologue
7 000 BC, Sol System, Earth, Europa, Great Plain
Earth became airborne as great bolts of twisting purple energy hurtled down through the atmosphere, quickly spiralling towards the Great Plain. The panicked shouts from the multitudes of humanoid creatures could be heard as they ran for their lives as the intense lavender energy continued to bombard the newly scorched ground.
The lower end of a giant silver ship, still small compared to the Great Plain, opened and extended a drawbridge, allowing the first of the humanoid creatures to make their way to the promised safety of the giant vessel. A small group of tall beings stood calmly by the ships drawbridge, urging the creatures to board the vessel. A small group of four broke from them, to another group of creatures - Humans. These four ushered their group of Humans into nearby caves. The Great Exodus continued as the purple energy ceased to pummel the surface. Then began the shining of a dark shade of light, growing and expanding in size. A loud humming was heard from the great silver vessel as the last of the refugees boarded her, and she slowly let go of the ground beneath her. She climbed slowly upwards one hundred meters, then slowly began to tilt upwards, the humming increasing, small flecks of white energy collected into a sphere at the fore of the silver ship, and it became obvious now as it slowly began to increase in size. The silver vessel gained speed as it climbed through the atmosphere.
The humming finally reached a crescendo as the pure white energy was now as massive as a moon. Time seemed to slow, drowning in the present as the deadly orb now propelled away from the silver-shining vessel, instantaneously with the darkened energy, as it began hurtling towards the Earth.
The silver vessel violently veered from it’s original course as the screaming energy now found it's way towards the silent energy threatening the planet.
The two energies collided with a monstrous roar and a sudden jolt of energy, sending a shockwave across the sky's indigo ceiling, as the metallic ship whined and disappeared in a streak of light, making it’s escape as it broke free of Earth’s gravity-well.
A week later, the skies quietly slept in calm. Both the Humans and the Four now began to reappear from the bowels of their protective caves. The Four were tall, reaching 6’5”. Their ears gracefully sloped and framed their thin faces, as their violet eyes gleamed with the ages of Life and Knowledge. Soft, auric light seemed to create a balance of Calm and Peace. The humans looked to the sky that now had a new occupant. Ironic, some of them thought, that something so quiet, had only days before rained death down upon them. A grey orb now floated in the sky, where previously there had been only empty sky. They were soon to give her a name – Luna.
The humans broke into four separate groups, and travelled in different directions, each accompanied by one of the Four.
Three of these four groups stagnated for a time, becoming animalistic, living in the pure Survival of the Fittest law, forsaking the knowledge and advice of their Devine Guides and almost died out. But one group prospered in Mesopotamia - The Land Between the Rivers - as they heeded the advice of their Devine Guide, Marduk.
The Remaining three, then turned their eyes on Marduk’s people, they watched, and they waited...
