Good for you for reporting him! I can't believe your friends mad and did all that. If my boyfriend hit my friend, I'd be so mad at him. But people just don't see that. It's okay for their boyfriend to cuss out their friend, but its not okay for their friend to cuss out their boyfriend. I thought friends were more important than guys..but i guess people just don't know that. Well I dont know how I can help, but I wish you luck with this! (PS I hope it gets on his file hehe)  |

That was stupid that he hit you, I mean what you said wasn't a big deal. If he didn't like it all he had to do was say something. He has no right to touch you like that & just hit you, & if I was your friend (I meant the guy's g/f, but I'm your friend I would break up with him immediately. I mean, hitting one of my friends is like hitting me. If she was your true friend, she wouldn't be treating you this way.....I'm really sorry I don't have any good advice 4 u, maybe you should just do what your dad & his g/f say, you could report him or something...if he dosen't want that on his record, that's his problem. Alls i have to say to you people is I am the friend.. and this is sort of one-sided. In a nutshell.. yeah this is how that happened. I did stand up for her. but she wouldnt know that because she wasnt there.. It is wrong for guys to hit girls.. and I dont say that its ok. But I just dont think that this is worth us all losing our friendship over. If Amber will give me the chance to defend myself.. and not delete this I have to give you a hint of why I am such a brat lately... My grandmother just died on Monday.. my relationship with my b/f is rocky.. my parents are giving me constant hell.I have something wrong that the doctors cant find... and to top it off i feel like everyone is always talking about me.. so thats my story. Amber will understand.. I am sorry and I was pissed when I said what I said. Now I am just upset that all of this happened. Sucks for you, you aren't having good luck. I'm sorry that I neglected to think about you and your problems.. just know that I love you and you will always be like my sister (which is why we fight) so thats all i am truly sorry..  |

This is like dealing with an alcoholic and by that I mean as long as people like this are allowed to continue to be abusive and not have to answer for their actions why should they change? Not that you want to save the world but bottom line is this creep committed a crime, it's assault and no so called friend is worth going there for. Send this jerk a clear message, report him and make it real clear hands off, and if they start to taunt you get a restraining order, maybe then they will get the idea barbarians belong in jail behind bars...............good luck  |

Tough situation I think! I used to be disliked and made fun of by a lot of people in grade, junior, and high school so I can relate to experiences like that. (That was in the 80's though so things are a little different. LOL) My advice would be, don't report it any more than you already have, because my belief is that it will only make the people involved hate you more, and cause them to attempt more violence. Just let it go, forgive them, and move on without bringing it up to anyone. And do yourself a favor: look up the laws for your state, and find out *exactly* what counts as harassment, assault, stalking, or any crime that would apply; when & if they do anything to you that matches those, then you can report them. Expect the possibility of retaliation though.  |

I hadn't read Fire Fairy's apology before I made the last post! LOL I think her apology was sincere and that she should be believed. Everything I said I still recommend though, for anyone that may try anything in the future and keeps taking it further. |
