Date: 3/19/2002 8:08:00 PM From Authorid: 16442 I know that St Pete is, but I am not sure who else is. One of the Ice Queens was, I believe, but I am not sure if she is still. I was baptised one but no longer believe their doctrine. |

Date: 3/19/2002 8:34:00 PM From Authorid: 23610 I belonged to the L.D.S. church for many years. I found it to be a wonderful religion and it gave me a strong foundation for my life....but I did not agree with all that they believed...so I am not an active member but still have all the respect in the world for the church and it's members. MoonPriestess is right, St. Pete is Mormon as is Melodius, I believe. |
Date: 3/20/2002 6:52:00 AM From Authorid: 19220 I was raised and baptised mormon. I no longer pratice but still hold respect for the church. LadyNyx and Moon Priestess are correct. |

Hmmm... my last comment was deleted. I guess it must have been considered insulting or something, so if it offended anyone, I apologize, I didn't mean to. As for my opinion of the LDS religion, I have greatest respect for the people. I have known many of them, and they are the kindest, most generous and loving people I have ever met. As for the church itself, I believe it is contradictory and teaches things ( once you get past the surface ) that are fundamentally contradictory to the very Bible which is a part of it. Most people think it is a Christian church, but it is not, because it has a different Jesus and a different God than other Christian churches. That is my opinion, as you asked for it, nothing more, and I'm not trying to offend anyone by saying these things. However, that is what I believe, and not without good reason. |
Date: 3/26/2002 3:23:00 PM From Authorid: 51901 I was baptized a Mormon, but found out things that contradict the Bible and that Joseph Smith practiced witchcraft |
Date: 3/27/2002 9:30:00 PM From Authorid: 51685 among other things... What are you now? |
Date: 3/28/2002 9:35:00 AM From Authorid: 51901 I'm now a Baptist |
Date: 3/28/2002 9:03:00 PM From Authorid: 52302 I used to be. my comments about the church might be interpreted as personal attacks on the members, instead of disagreement with the doctrine. i guess i can say, i FEEL joseph smith sat down and wrote his own religion. just like l. ron hubbard (scientology) most religion was man made. |
Date: 3/29/2002 12:13:00 AM From Authorid: 52320 I am former LDS. thank goodness I escaped. It is mind-control, to me. |
Date: 4/13/2002 2:50:00 PM From Authorid: 51685 Glad to hear that you aren't anymore. I'm not a Mormon and I never was one, but I've been learning a lot about them, and most everything I've learned is pretty scary. |
