I listen silently
Without a care
As the soft ocean breeze, blows through my hair
The sun
So bright
As if it hadn't shone in years
All of my fears
Disappear
I close my eyes
And let my mind wander where it will
And hum silently
To the mockingbirds song
I feel so happy
so clean
and fresh
As I start my day again
In the mornings caress.
