You come into my room
before the morning light
your soothing voice awakens me
from the slumber of the night.
Morning music you play each day
said tunes for all to hear
some sent out to someone special
so pleasing to my ears.
You start my day off just right
making it better along the way
when I check my e-mail account
and find you've thought of me today.
So I'm taking time to let you know
Just what you mean to me
I'm glad I found a friend in you
and you've got a friend in me.
Written for my mom who is happily chatting with a DJ, who plays her special songs and e-mails her just to tell her she is special. She asked me to write something for him...Hope this gets her the date Saturday night..LOL.. :)
