Is He Still Here?(true)

My husband and I moved here about 6 months ago. My niece came over one day in October right after we moved in. She went outside to play with the neighborhood children. One little girl asked her while they played in our yard "Do you live here now?" she asked. My niece replied "No my auntie does". The little girl said "That is good because that house is haunted. A man walks that house on halloween." Of course my niece ran in the house to tell me the story.I secured her by telling her that she was the new kid on the block and they were trying to scare her. Well, Halloween came and went and nothing happened, but that is not the end. About a month after this our neighbors came home from their vacation, this was our first meeting , the man spoke to my husband on his way in one day and he was telling him about his friend that use to live in our home . He said he died in the house and he stayed in there about a week without beeing noticed because he was a quiet man and noone noticed. My husband came in the house and told me what the neighbor said. Now I am really spooked!!! But I try to ignore it....guess what... I can't. Every time my husband and I leave the house and come back our clocks have reset themselves, not just one but all of them. The wierd thing is that they seem to reset themselves as soon as we leave the house because they run from 12:00 after they reset and the clocks are showing the exact time that we have been gone from home. What is he trying to tell us? What should we do? How can we ease his pain?
