Today Has Come And Gone........~~~Midnight Momma~~~

today was the day you gave me birth
who would of new that you would have much rather me be put under the dirt
my love for you will never die
and sometimes i want to tell you goodbye
i know how you wish that i would have died
so now i will sit and cry
i never ask to be born
this is something you did on your own
now 32 yrs later i still pay for your pain
this is something that just never goes away
i could never treat my babies as you did us
but this is a lesson that you instilled in me
even though you never thought me much
at least i learned how NOT to be
this day has come and gone and
you could not even pick up the phone
well thanks for nothing is all i can say
one day you will be old and gray
but guess what you will turn around
and not see anything
