Miss Sally and Uncle Sam

Danny said " it's time to go . "
When I ordered a round of beer .
He pointed at some drag queen .
Said , " I guess they're changing things around here . "
We did'nt even get a sip .
Befor we took out the door .
He said " it's shame they're everywhere these days . "
But , I could not see what it's a shame for .
So we went on over to Sally's .
To wait for the morning light .
From 7 PM to 6 AM , God Bless .
They are open everynight ....
We saw Crosby , he sitting down .
The other end of the bar .
He had road rash on his ear .
From being run off the road by a car .
Danny and me we just agreed .
Nothing is scared anymore .
As we saw a minister across the street .
Hand a 50 to a bore ....
Sometimes you just have to look around to see what's going on .
No matter what you see you just don't see enough to cry .
Too many wings all hanging from the left and the right .
Goodnight Miss Sally , tell Uncle Sam I've gone home for the night....

Danny and me went to the beach .
With some girls we knew .
One wanted coke , one wanted smoke .
The 3rd. was bogged down in her blues .
Danny said " let's get out of here . "
I thought it was a good enough time to go .
Danny and me , we laughed and agreed .
That they've got a long walk home Ha Ha ....
Sometimes you just have to look around to see what's going on .
No matter what you see you just don't see enough to cry .
Too many wings all hanging from the left and the right .
Goodnight Miss Sally , Tell Uncle Sam I've gone home for the night ....
