Do you have any idea what this was?

When I was younger, when I was trying to get to sleep I would look up at the ceilling to see rain falling down and I could feel it splashing on my face, it was quite relaxing. Then I'd see comets falling instead, they landed all around me, exploding but silently. I was not imagening it, it happened every night. I was fasinated by it. Sometimes there would be multi-coloured clouds floating above me. It was totally amazing. If you have any idea what it was/is I would really apreciate it. Thank you
