sorry I'm more of the penny pincher here. LOL what if you were to buy I mean actually buy a piggy bank, the kind that you have to actually BREAK to get the money out, then everytime you get money put say half of it in there.....maybe you would be less inclined to get that money out if you knew that you would have to crush the poor pig. lol |

Hmm... Well I would tell you consider putting it in a CD if you had enough for that. However the interest is not very good. Maybe you can get your parents to take some of your money and put it into a account you cannot get to I dunno these are a few things I or my parents did to save! |

Give the money to your parents and ask them to keep it for you. |

That is a hard one to learn!!! hmmm don't spend change!!! Use a dollar bill, when you get change, dump it into a jar, end of each week or month, you will find between 10-30.00 easy!!!! If you are vigilant with it for a month you might even have 100.00-ish!! But it is up to you to put it somewhere that you cannot spend it... I am banker for a couple of my friends... they cannot keep money and tell me to hold it and not give it to them no matter what they need it for... IT WORKS, I am like a steel trap!! lol |

In the UK we have post office accounts which you cannot get the money out of easily, IE there is no ATM card etc. Save up with the piggy bank method and then deposit this into an account that is harder to access. Then you would have to think whether it was worth the bother and more often than not you would find it wasn't. GOOD LUCK |

I spend my bills but always save my change. it doesn't seem like a lot but it adds up quick! I saved change for about 5 months and had $500.00. |

LOL! You sound like me. I am totally hopeless, plus iam a shopaholic!! But a few months ago myself and 3 of my friends decided we wanted to go on a holiday on the Gold Coast, so i rang my bank and got them to put an automatic withdrawal on my account, so that when i get paid $400 gets taken out electronically and put into another account. That way i dont get to see it or spend it. We are going away in June!! YAY!!! Good luck ..... |
