Date: 3/2/2002 11:55:00 AM From Authorid: 11952 I totally agree. Reminds me of a song by Pink Floyd "we dont need no eduction, we dont need no thought control" because i feel like school just teaches us what they think is important, i dont think they really know anything about life and stuff we should learn, they just teach stuff for this world! |

Alright, Im a junior in high school, going to school sucks, working sucks, yea yea, but im GLAD that there is no prayer in school, and yes i am releigious to a certaint extent. If releigion, God, Jesus, Joseph Smith etc... were in our schools education they would have to cover ALL releigious aspects so there is no discremination. With all the different types of beleifs in our society, public education would be expanded years and years just to cover them, its better releigion is left out of our schools, i know im a little off topic, but thats what i have to say, i rather go to a public school and read about Jesus Christ on my own time. |
Date: 3/2/2002 4:20:00 PM From Authorid: 15394 hmmm no education sounds like the rich getting richer etc... no education keeps the masses down that do not have advantage of money, no education gives right to those that know over those that haven't been educated, no education leads to poverty, early mortality and less religion... or if you see religon as answer to no education, no education gives better control to those in charge of the collection plate in organized religon. |

Date: 3/3/2002 8:39:00 AM From Authorid: 16671 Given the scores of the TEACHERS themselves, many that had fail the high school testing AFTER they became teachers, I thought they already had given up on education?? IMHO |
Date: 3/3/2002 9:45:00 PM From Authorid: 39887 All these people that have something against God still carry the same money that I do that says " In God We Trust ". Turn over that money, don't fly that flag that represents "God Bless America". What hypocrites!!! |
