ok im sorry if this isnt in the right category. i thought it would be better off here. im venting right now sorry, u dont have to listen to me if you dont want to lol...

isnt it weird to find out that someone you know has died. It's like, "What???" i couldnt believe that my grandpa had died it came up so unexpectidly. It wasnt the best way to come up to because i had a really bad day that day when my aunt told me that he had died, it didnt make it any better. i didnt really cry or anything at that moment since i was never like really close to him. dont get me wrong i mean i loved him and everything. i guess i didnt cry at the moment since i hate crying in front of people. i went up to my room that night and cried. at the funeral i didnt cry or anything because i was actually holding my tears back because i there was already plenty of people crying and i didnt want to make it any worse.

and i felt so bad for my dad because i actually saw him cry, since it was HIS dad and all. it was the first time i'd ever seen him cry. it hurts to see your parents cry, isnt it? i felt so helpless seeing him cry. i wished to not see him cry again because my heart was broken for him. Its gonna be really hard when my grandma (his mom) passes away. She's in her 70's now and she's in perfect health so she'll possibly make it to 80 or 90.

so how did you feel when you found out that someone you knew had died?

You have many emotions that run through you at different times, and this is all part of the healing process taking place within. You should not feel ashamed or find need to hide your emotions. Unfortunatly, death is a reality for all of us, and it affects all those that are left behind. It is because of my understanding of God, to my best abililty that will lesson the hurt that comes with death. Good Luck to you and my prayers are with you....

Date: 2/20/2002 2:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 42945    well I think its always sad to hear of someone dying, but when they are close to you its very hard to cope with, when my died I was devastated but I didnt cry until later I was in a state of shock I think, but I dread the day when my mum dies, she is now 79yrs and has been sick but at present she is good, but I dont look forward to that day.....so hun, death is never easy to handle for anyone, we just have to accept it as part of life and move on...hugs to you hun...
