DID I FLY THE NIGHT SKIES?.........Jerry8688

In my relaxed mode of night sleep
My subconscious mind takes to flight
Slowly reaching for the height of the stars
As I look down to Earth with the urgency of panic
Because it looked ever so small as well distant
Even at the point of me screaming something happened
One moment I see small Earth the next it is gone
What I do witness are far distant stars flashing by fast
As I sense light-years away traveling faster and faster
Yes even Star Trek could not keep up with me
Then I stopped just as fast and slowly turnabout
I felt the energy within me mounting up ever so quickly
A blink of an eye I proceeded to go just as fast as stopping
Traveling light-years faster passing stars standing still
As I observed far into the distant my home-base called Earth
Closer and closer Earth becomes ever so larger quicker
While the starry night sky is turning into dawn as I see the sun
Cresting over the eastern mountainous range with snowy peaks
I enter the atmosphere as the light-years speed becomes faster
Traveling parallel to mountainous range and descending rapidly
To that place I call home as I felt this rush invading every part of me
Suddenly familiar sounds like radio and alarm are going off and playing
Then there is this certain contraction within me that is shaking strongly
That I jolted into this rough wide awake state in a cold-sweat and nervous
Looking around as if something was out of place and my mind is at red alert
Calming myself down as I retrace my thoughts to only convinced it is a dream
For that is not the only time this dream come about it is a recurrence of a message
