Wow thats terrible!! Here in Australia we have a consumer hotline that we can ring and they give you advice on how to handle such situations. This stops big organisations getting away with this kinda stuff. Iam sure there is someone you can ring or contact to help you sort this out. DONT put up with this!! Goodluck .... ![]() |

The store you bought it at got it from the manufacturer. Does the store have a return policy? You can also contact the local Better Business Bureau and your state's Attorney General to file complaints and get assistance. Perrianne ![]() |

You have consumer rights. If you have a major problem and cannot get it worked out from the dealer or manufacturer, contact the MAJOR APPLIANCE CONSUMER ACTION PANEL at 1-800-621-0477. Don't hesitate to take action because you have consumer rights. ![]() |

Thanks for the heads up on this...Have you tried calling the better business bureau in your area? Also, Our local TV station has something called "Contact 5" for channel 5 and they do stories on the news to get people to "Make things right when they are trying to give a runaround. I would go back to the store and ask "Politely for the manager and explain the situation, if he refuses to help you, then call your local consumer advocate and file a report. You can find out who the consumer advocate is by calling city hall. Good luck! Peace and Love, ![]() |
