Dark blackness in the cold depths, rising
Up, it seeps into the world and overwhelms
The very essence of being that contains it,
Holding back against the tides of despair that
Well up alongside the dark feelings of gloom.

Too often alone, the thin walls that hold the dark
Contained, are breached with pinprick holes, the
Gloom seeping away and out, cursing the prison
Of flesh that, captive, it had sought to warp and yet
Could not, unbreakable from within, fragile without.

Angered, it's own failings raging upon itself,
The prison begins to tear itself apart, spiralling
Out of control, it falls and is lost to the sight of
Many, not noticing at all.

At the last, the prison is saved, the rage and
Blackness seeped away; cool balm of love now enters
In where once darkness brewed, bright figure closing
The holes of gloom, lifting up and bringing forth into
Light, that now enters in cleansing both, a prison there
No longer, alone but together, apart but whole.

You saved me from the dark, my love, and brought
The light into me, to match the light that lay hidden
Within, it is free now, your love and mine together
And apart, we are whole, a dream long lost now come
True, I shall be to you and you to me, the world.

Together for all time, flawed Angel from bygone age
Perfect Princess, sweet heart, and soul, becoming one.
Time fleeting, a lost traveller on the long road now
Guided, led to paradise within your heart, watching
The Moon, Stars and Earth herself, watching and waiting
To simply say and hear those three sweetest words
