Today in my second hour, my teacher was making an example to show us how to make tables on Microsoft Word (super easy, super boring) and she was using a made-up student's schedule for an example. She used for one of the classes band (I'm a band geek, by the way) which I didn't think much of but others started snickering and laughing about it.
I feel quite sorry for them. They don't know what they are missing by assuming that band is for losers, they are just close-minded. You don't have to agree with me, but instrumentalist music is the best type you can find. Find one true musician and/or music group that actually plays an instrument for their songs and in 99% of the groups, I guarantee that they were part of a school or church band, or something of the sort.
Anyways, I'm so proud to be addicted to band and instrumental music, I just thought I'd share that I'm downloading all of Holst's Planet suite and putting it on a cd. Why am I sharing this? Because it is not easy to find music like this, I've searched for quite a while. If anyone is interested in getting all of the songs I'll send you all of the files, which will be much faster than downloading it off of most other people because I have a fast connection. So, I don't think anyone would be, but if you're interested message or reply here and I'll try mailing it to you overnight perhaps sometime soon. (It won't take overnight to send, but long enough to where I wouldn't want to wait for it all to send.)
