I have many pets who I love and miss dearly, I look forward to our reunion...right now they're playing frisbee with God, or drinking milk from the "golden bowl"... |

We have lost a lot of precious animals over the years and many of them have let us know that they are okay. It is soooo difficult to get over the empty feeling, but we eventually do. You are also trying to deal with guilt and that takes a lot longer. Good luck to you. bye |

Sorry you lost your dear pet. I do believe he was there with you on that day. My dad used to live in a place where he said every night when he would get into bed, he could feel a cat jump on the bed and lay on his legs. He always looked but never seen anything. I hope you feel better soon. 'Razzles' |

I lost a cat last summer. I think I see him around once in a while. I wrote about one experience(My Gaurdian Cat). I know how horrible it is to deal with a loss of a pet. They are like children. Just remember that your dog will always be with you in spirit. I am sorry for your loss. Things will get better. RlaurenC |

I have never been this upset over a pet. I had one of my birds to die in my hands...poor thing. But I have never been seriously depressed over an animal dying. But I do believe that our pets will actually stick around with us for a little while to make sure that we are ok. When my cat Kitty died I heard her meow for weeks after she died. |

it's true that animals return to us after they die. I had several experiences recently but the most important one was june of 01. My beloved, cherished cat of 22 years had to be put down for kidney failure, before she died she ran to me on the table at the vet and pressed her head into my chest as if to hug me for the last time. I held her in my arms until she passed crying my heart out but she is no longer in pain. 29 days passed and she returned to me in my dream where I felt her soft, long fur, felt her touch, we look into each other's face and I knew she is waiting for me and is happy. Then last month I woke up suddenly to find the bottom of the bed blanket was lifting up, what it was is that she would crawl under my blankets each night to sleep with me near my stomach, I felt her fur and her nudging me so I calmly called her name out and returned to sleep. Animals always returned to their loved ones. Take comfort in it because we will meet again wen we leave. |

I believe it to be so..I too am sorry at your loss been there more times than i care to remember I mentioned in some other post about how my cat used to jump through my window where the glass had been broken out..and my bed was right next to the window and it would make me jump..startled me...anyhow..my cat was killed and after that i would sit there ..and my curtain would blow to the side and i literaly felt something jump on me..just as he once had |
