I have used Febreeze, that can be purchased at most stores, though it's mostly used on fabrics. Give it a try. |

Baking soda works wonders...and also those glade plugins that warm the oil inside work GREAT. Everytime I walk into my room I am nearly knocked out by the good scent Love, |

I agree with Febreeze, and use pine sol on the floor and especially bleach in a bucket with some hot water on the wall if they are white. Or orange stuff that is used for cleaning. It's comsentrated. And smells nice. Make sure if you have any pets and kids you are venilating the house with some open windows. LYNDA AKA P.S.- if you have carpet, sprinkle with mountain Fresh or somethig you like and then vacuum it up. |

vinegar and water (bucket of water and a cup of white vingar) or baking soda and water (bucket of water, 1/2 cup baking soda)... even better is a combo of all three. vinegar also acts as a mildewcide (kills mildew) and isn't as harsh on your skin or lungs as bleach. Oxyclean works great on stains and smells, too! |
