Hi well me and my friends want to go to picton sandbanks this summer and i was wondering if anyone out there knows information on this place and suggestions on where to stay (cottages, motels, camping?) and suggestions on places around picton that we can go visit and activities we can try out.. Date: 1/27/2002 9:38:00 PM From Authorid: 5301 ...The Picton Bay Motel is fairly inexpensive. It's nothing special, but it's clean and it's right on the bay. You can go out back and fish off the dock if you're inclined that way. You probably won't be able to camp at Sandbanks as you have to reserve a spot VERY early and the place is probably already booked for the season. Lots of things to see in the area too, if you want to drive a little...ghost towns and the like. Hit a couple of yard sales in the boonies...you'd be surprised at what you'll find.
