Axlerose...You have a point, the restriction thing for your tag..but its not fair to the tag makers who have to change it over and over again...that also takes time away from making others tags who dont have a tag in the first place..and Ship pagen has a point..you dont know who your talking to! lol babymike & Uisce had that problem...  |

I agree...I don't think they realize how much work goes into changing a tag, or making a new one...only to have to change it again a little ways down the road because they broke up with their bf/gf. If ya wanna change your chat alias, that's cool! The little box in the lower right hand corner in chat allows you to do that without changing your MAIN alias.  |

It does bother me also to see people suffer cause of others actions..but you know what? that life...We all suffer cause of others actions..thats why there is rules and laws...thats why you have to be a certain age to drive..cause even if you are a mature 14 year old...someone screwed it up for you..and they made the age limit 16 (in my state anywase) And on usm..you have to wait 2 months for your tag ..the reason for this..someone screwed it up for you again..lol..alot of people left when they recieved their tag...so its true..its unfair that peole have to mess things up for other people...but sometimes rules are for the best..and in this case me and a few others belive so because of chaning one's tag over and over...because of taking up time for making peoples tag who dont even have one yet, and getting the names confused... |

ok axle! lets put a vote..to only have to stay here 1 week to get a tag and have 5 replies..lets put a vote for 12 year olds to drive cause a few of them are maturer then 16 year olds..lets put a vote so you have to be 18 to drink...cause some of us are responsible and "know when to stop"... WHY dont we put a vote in ALL the laws ever made? lol the have to wear a helmt law..what the heck is that for? lol some of us have great balance..and ALWAYS watch out for cars..the seatbelt law! what are you talking about? we all keep our hands at 10 and 2 and are perfect drivers..lol ok my point...we have rules..and i think it would be a good idea if some could be made on this topic |

Ive seen somethings happen with 1 or 2 or 3 people agreeing but because of their "rank" it seems that it was accepted. |

Axle, it has nothign to do with people being here longer..this has to do with taggy makers redoing it...it has to do with ginger uploading the same tag over and over cause it keeps getting changed...or the embarassment of thoes people who walk around with their ex's name on their tag...yet thoes people who dont have tags at all, cause their usm brother's tag is busy geting redone cause it has his usm ex girlfriends name on it... |

well here's somewhat of a thought that might just solve part of the problem. let people go ahead and put other's names on their tag if they want. that way no one's feelings are hurt in the least because they want to show their love for their bf/gf......BUT *yes there would be a catch* in all fairness to the tag makers.....have there be a time limit as to WHEN someone can 'apply' to have their tag changed.....say six months *Or whatever time frame the admins were to set up* from the day they get it..... |

yea good suggestion, OR their tag change can be on the bottom of the list, that way when the tag maker has none to do, the tag maker can work on that person's tag!!! but i want to be stubborn and say NOOOOOOOO ONLY ONE person's name should be on the freakin tag! |

I do see your point about how it can be difficult for their tags to be changed if they break up. Maybe the people who have this on their tags should have to make their own new oens? I don't know. It is a fact Nakoma..I never said anything about you and amanda not being old together, I said for the most part people who are younger dont stay married for a long time...and that is a fact...its also a fact that over half of the marriages end in divorce..even though this isnt MARRIAGE, boyfriend/girlfriend is pretty much the same...The point is when your younger, relationships dont usually dont last long...im not saying it NEVER does..just usually...and great for you that you love her name on your tag, this post wasnt pointing fingers..only saying that its not cool to change tags over and over and over again cause they keep breaking up with their bf/gf...But i really like beckys suggetion..what she said..wait for 6 months to have their tag changed..so that way tag makers dont have to keep fixing it right away, and the people who keep putting others names on their tag they will learn a lesson too |

I agree.. Even marriages don't last forever.. The way I look at it is the tag is our name.. People don't go to court to have a loved ones name added to theirs legally.. If they want to boast about their love they can do it in the profile..

I don't like the idea of restrictions on tags either because of free expression, speech, etc. And maybe alot of tag makers here need something to do once their is no longer a waiting list on tags like before. I doubt the rate of tag request exceeds the number of tagmakers available to work on them like it was in the past. With dat said, I would never want someone elses aka on my tag, no matter what ...dats my choice  But if anyone else wants to, let them. Peace...  |
