To others, success is how you made them feel. For yourself, it's the good that you feel. Both ways, success is a feeling, though unfortunately many people feel material wealth and other such gains based on the standards of society provide the means to that end. I personally don't care for laws, because they create a constant internal feeling of limitations as coming from the outside, rather than within. In the perfect world, laws wouldn't be needed, because people would have the sense to act by what they genuinely consider right. However, most people can't get the grasp of that, and see the idea solely as permission to do whatever they want. There is a difference between what someone wants to do, and what they know inside they should do. And success comes from knowing you always did the latter. But as far as that relating to the fact the rest of the world as it is still exists, well, that's something a lot harder to work out. - Gecko  |
