When the wind blows softly through the trees
I like to think that I can see
Beyond the hills and mountains large
A lovely place where I can be
At peace, with calmness and serenity
To sit among the grass and leaves
And reminisce about the days, when I was young.

As I lay back and look up at the sky
And watch all the clouds go passing by
I see the shapes of peoples faces
And think of all the places where
I travelled, when I was young.

But now I just sit and listen
As the winds speak ever so gently
To remind me that I can still imagine
Of what might have been, when I was young.
