in my own opinion, i think it's strange + ironic that america is bombing their lands AND sending food aid? o_OO_o sounds kinda weird to me. anyway, i think america should keep their money to themselves..for all purposes

Hi Absz, nice to see ya on one of my posts. If You look at the date it was in May when they gave this money to the Taliban. In June they were in negotiations with the Taliban to get the okay to lay that infamous pipeline for oil across Afghanistan. At the final meeting in those negotiations they told the Taliban, "We will lay a carpet of gold in Your country or we will lay a carpet of bombs". The Taliban stood up and walked out. Hi Bigtex, that $43 Million was given to the Taliban Govt. It was a bribe Tex to smooth the way for the negotiations. Problem was the Oil Company Unocal kept lowering thier offers and the Taliban wouldnt accept the offer finally the US negotiators told them, accept it and we will lay a carpet of gold OR we will lay a carpet of bombs. Maybe they grow and sell their Opium for their livelihood..I have heard that opium seeds are edible..hehehe..I wonder if the government would assist me in growing and selling opium..Sounds to me like there might be some good money in that idea..  |

Good Morning Rusure, Yep Poppy growing is big business over there. It keeps the worldwide Heroin trade going. I read an article a few weeks ago and these Poppy growers make a very good living supplying the Heroin trade. They must love Mr. Bush because now that the Taliban are gone the farmers are planting a new crop. I suppose the heroin Traffikers are quite pleased with this as well. Bye for now. Enki |

Hi King, sorry about that word. Sometimes I get carried away. King, I think that our Govts. have been hijacked by very wealthy folks who dont care about our constitution or bill of rights or any of our rights. They see themselves as superior and a day is coming where they will take all our rights away and rule us as they see fit. This story was posted so the people might catch a glimpse of one of the things that goes on that isnt told to the people.
