Amen! i totally agree. people need to witness with gentleness and kindness. To be Christ-like. You cant win souls if you shove it down peoples throats or speak of brimestone and fire. But alas, Christians are just people too, flawed and human. |

Wow, amazing post! I know a lot of people who have been belittled by someone that's Christian and that pushes them further away from Christianity and sometimes spirituality all together so I understand what you're talking about. Good post I completely agree with you. |

God and the mythical being called satan have nothing to do with this , it is simply the ignorance of man that is being displayed ! There are those of all faiths who will look down upon others who do not believe as they do . Remember that a spark of God is within each of us and when we belittle someone else, we also belittle God! We are all on the earth for a reason and we are all absolutely connected. What we see in others is our own shortcomings ! This has always been and will continue to be so, until people become more educated and realize that there are many paths to God and we do not all walk the same one, however we ARE all going to the same place , no matter which route we take! I hope things are better for you in the future! Posey |

Author 30085: I agree that God is not responsible for our actions and that we should be. That is why I made this post, to hopefully open some closed eyes. |

Author 34328: thanks for your reply and you are correct that we are all human and therefore very flawed. |

Author 29919: Thanks for your opinion. As a Christian, I feel very strongly on this issue. I hope that anyone guilty of doing the above on a regular basis will change their ways. |

Posey: Thanks for your response but I'm not sure you really understood this post. This is about Satan and God because actions of Christians do speak louder then words. I am a Christian and feel that the above is very important for all Christians, including myself, to remember. I am not the one that is struggling with this in my personal life... as I stated in the first line, this is dedicated to two of my family members. Thanks for your reply. |

Oh yes, I understand that it is for two of your family members and not you! As soon as I hit the submit button, I realized that I had said you and not the two you wrote about! Sorry, too late then! I wonder if this was a "senior moment?" lol. Posey |

Excellent post! I'm not a Christian, but I recognize a lot of the traits you mentioned in my own thinking and behavior. I've been told that my beliefs have put me the wrong path, but I'm guilty of thinking the same thing about other people--and I should burn in hell for it! (Just kidding.) Learning not to judge people is a hard thing to do, but it's part of the spiritual path. Canoe |

If Christians, by and large, would READ THE WORD, and apply it, to their lives, instead of being so "self righteous" and proud, then the world would definitely be a better place. I am a Christian, but because I reject denominational teachings, my family and I have suffered GREATLY, by the actions of other Christians. Oftentimes, I find pagans to be much more HONEST. And that is sad. |
