Date: 1/25/2002 8:24:00 PM From Authorid: 47734 I feel your pain. I haven't smoked in 7 days. I can't believe I have made it this long. I just try my best not to think about it. I do alot of stuff just to keep my mind off of smoking. That is what works most of the time. The rest of the time I chew gum. Hope that helps. Congrats on the 12 hours. But do know it gets a little better each day. ~~Captivatingboi |

Date: 1/25/2002 8:36:00 PM From Authorid: 47734 Well i am happy to say that I only have had about 3 or 4 cravings today, much better than the 600 the first day. LOL.. But realize that smoking is really bad for your health. I'm not gonna give you a lecture about smoking, God knows I hate it when somebody gives me one of those. But think of all the money you will save $$$ ~~Captivatingboi |

Date: 1/26/2002 1:34:00 AM From Authorid: 29037 When I quit smoking, the day before, I smoked 4 packs, so the next day I didn't feel like smoking. Point: 24 hours is the physical addiction, and the next 72 are mental addiction. After about a week, you should be in the clear. Just keep yourself busy. I also take an Anatomy class with cadavers, and one died of lung cancer. After seeing that, I would never touch a cigarette again! |
Date: 1/26/2002 6:39:00 AM From Authorid: 38406 Congrat! I am so happy you decide to quit. Please keep it up. Good Luck. Love, |
