Today is January 23rd and 4 years agoa my grandfather died of a heart attack.. which is still hard fro me to understand because he was teh healthiest man i knew and he always got up early in the morning to work and he came over to our house al the time tohelp my dad do wood work . Another thing i dont understand is that how he could ahev let the heart attcak get to him i noticed that many people haev had heart attacks and live my grandpa is the only one i knwo that died of a heart attack. God should have not let him die .

I remember that we I was younger he would let me ride on is lap on the tracktor and i still have the picture of the littel girl he called his cowgirl and the big guy who had a heart for everyone. My grandpa was considerably generous and always helped my family out in the winter time. grandpa loved us like we loved him. but of course i do regret one thing to this day and always will. 2 weeks before he died he was helping dad with the cabinets and we just got home i was a freshman in hihg school and i was gettign home and we always went down to the shop and say hi to grandpa well he

asked me a question before he left for home he asked.. whats 6x4 and i was too excited to see him that i blurted out the wrong answer... that was the last time i saw him the day we buried him i waanted to be alone with him at his grave and i said grandpa its 24...24. the wind blew and i swear i heard him says Its alright my littel cowgirl its alright.

Date: 1/23/2002 7:51:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    Honey, I'm so sorry about your Grandpa. He sounds like a wonderful man. Heart attacks run in my family which is how my Momma died (getting ready to call me on the phone), Her Daddy died at 58 from a heart attack, and 5 of Momma's brothers died same way. My Dad's brother had a fatal heart attack too. I guess if a person has to go, then that is the fastest way. Did you ever see the movie, " Grumpy Old Men"? They all wanted to go like that instead of a lingering death. I'm with you tho, I wish my loved ones were still here. But Sweetie, he is still with you everyday. You are always going to be a part of him. He will stay alive and vibrant in your memories. *HUGS*
