Forensic Scientist or Social Worker?

This is a simple question, nothing dramatic...:( I asked someone what kind of job I'd be taking when I'm older. The person said I'd be a Forensic Scientist or Social Worker. Well, I do have a thing for science and I kinda like to help people. If I would be a social worker would I be like working at a McDonalds? LOL. See, I got caught talking on the phone to my boyfriend and my dad spied on the conversation. My dad said, "Ok, if I catch you talking on the phone with that boy again you'll never go to school. You will stay at home and clean the house.". What a jerk eh? My dad has NO compassion! I'm just asking this question because I'm afraid I might not have a future...:(
