Lies that replace
the love and the trust.
Cold shoulders, harsh words.
Hearts that are breaking.
Feeling that loneliness
with each moment of waking.
No one can help you
your heart's torn and tattered.
Things that he gave you
are broken and shattered.
Thinking of all the
fights and the lies.
Feeling the anger
inside of you rise.
A long time of waiting
It's not like before
You know you don't
want to hurt anymore.
Yet, the pain's neverending
and it hurts deep inside
after those many months
that you've cried.
Then one day you notice
that things aren't so bad
And there is no reason
for you to be mad.
Cause you loved somebody
and your heart was the cost.
But he's starting to realize
the love that he lost.
