Umm I don't look down on the people. I personally wouldn't do it. But thats me, and Im not gonna tell someone they shouldn't do it. It kinda dose look a little sexy on a few guys, but not on everyone. Know what I mean?? But hey not everything can look good on everyone...and I have my ears pierced, I have 2 in my right ear and 4 in the left, including cartalidge. And I got a little bit of you shouldnt have done that when I pierced that part. But hey, I dont care. And most people dont know this, but I have a small Tatoo of a Dolphin on the back of my Left Shoulder. So no im not gonna look down on someone, I may not think it looks good, but they are human too, and maybe they dont think I loook good....lol...  |

omg, when I had my eyebrow pierced one of my friends grandma's would not talk to me at all. She wouldn't even look at me. It was really horrible. My friend's mom who was also in this room addressed her about it and still she went on her way like she did nothing wrong. I personally just laughed about it.  |

I don't look down on them...though I do not prefer tatoos on myself, I do have a bunch of ear piercings that I did by myself and my belly button pierced(didn't do that one on my own, lol). I don't like it,though,how some people have their entire bodies covered in tatoo's, but that's only my opinion. If they wanna have tatoos I say let 'em. Also,though,if you ever have to get an mri at the hospital the led in the tatoo that is over the part that's being examined can mess up the picture....and it's also easy to catch Hepatitis B from tatoos(and piercings, too). Anyways, I do know some very civilized individuals with tatoos.  |

I don't mind the looks of most piercings (except through the nasal septum, which makes a person look like a cow or a canible). The tongue things don't look bad...but aren't they awfully uncomfortable? I've seen some young people who have really gotten carried away with both piercings and tattoos. I've been to some websites, where some of these really extreme types let themselves be hung by hooks, naked & with weights and bizarre objects tied to well....never mind. I saw a picture once, of a woman who had her tongue slit, so that she looked like a reptile. I've seen other bizarre stuff too. I hate those tattoos that go way up on the side of the neck...but that's MY problem. To each his own. I guess all the peeps with the metal hanging out of their faces have to go through security at the airport over & over. I bet they have to take all that metal out of their faces and bods when they take MRI tests. I guess they have to take out the metal when applying for many types of jobs, and that they have to wear long-sleaved shirts. Oh well! What ever! -The Captain- |

I don't think that girls/women look good with large bizarre or tough looking tattoos. But I've seen some women with small "lady-like" tattoos that I did like: One woman I used to know had a small rose blossom tattood on her upper, inner thigh. Hmmmm, nice!  |

i think body modifycation to the extreme or hanging by hooks is well ok with me but ide never do it and tattoos up the neck i happen to like just mine like you said to each his own and well i respect that * bows to you* captin but anyways only few barbells set off meatal detectors i feel so bad for a friend he has a Princealbert and well it kept causeing the detector to go off he had to strip....i felt bad.... |

Well I more then likely have to look up at them rather then down since i am so short LMAO just kidding but seriously, I could care less, if that is what someone likes, or makes them happy to be them, then by all means do it, it isn't hurting me any. I would love to get a tattoo or 2 but i lack the funds and courage LOL. I would get some more piercings(I have my ears pierced only)but I honestly don't think it would look good on me. there are some people I think look good with tons of piercings and tatoos. But i gotta admit when I see someone who has tons of piercings and tats for the first time I kind of jump back in awe. hehe  |

Personally I don't like tattos nor peircings..I don't look down on those who do have some,but I don't understand WHY they want them..Really,for anyone to use their skin as a drawing board,or to prick their skin just doesn't make a lot of sense to me..Another thing,tatooing scares me..My brother who is now in his 50's had some problem recently with his liver..The doctors thought he had cancer..They ran some test and did some blood work..A week later the doctor called him back into the office..The first thing his doctor said to him was "You have ink showing in your blood"..My brother had no idea what the doctor was talking about..My brother asked "How could I have ink poisioning?" His doctor said "Have you any body tatooes?" My brother told him that he does have body tatooes,but the last one he got was in the 70's..His doctor then told him that the ink used for the tatooes had went into his blood and had settled into his liver..The ink had set up infections and had scarred his liver..He is now on medications because of it..My brother then realized that with each tatoo that he received as he was growing up that he had felt ill after each tatoo,but he never connected it to the ink going into his system..Now..My brother has many tatooes and now that he is older,he has attempted to have most of them removed..A few of them are so deep that it woud require surgery to have them removed..As for the body peircings,I saw nothing so wrong with ear peircings,but when people began peircing their other body parts,such as their eyes,noses,lips,and tongues,belly buttons,etc,etc,it reminds me of primitive people. It's as if they take a good thing and carry it too far..People can't leave well enough alone..They have to keep adding to it and attempting to improve things..Their ideas of improving often leads to ridiculous..It seems that each generation wants their own thing..As can be seen in comparing history,progress is not always a good thing..In the name of progress and improvments,much good is thrown out with the bad..I don't look down on others,but I do have concerns as to where "progress and improvements" are leading..Well,that's my two cents worth..((Hugs))  |
